Reflecties, met dank aan Martinus

Concept: 2022-2023

De tentoonstelling ‘Reflecties, met dank aan Martinus‘ in AZ Sint-Maarten Mechelen ontstond uit de eenvoudige vraag ‘Wie was Sint-Maarten?’. Tijdens het lezen van de biografie over Martinus van Tours werd de kunstenaar geïntrigeerd door de persoonlijkheid van de man en de tijd waarin hij leefde. De expo is een reeks bespiegelingen op onze huidige wereld, aan de hand van thema’s die ook belangrijk waren in Martinus’ leven.

The exhibition ‘Reflections, with thanks to Martinus‘ at AZ Sint-Maarten Mechelen started with the simple question ‘Who was Saint Martin?’. While reading the biography of Martin of Tours, the artist was intrigued by the man’s personality and the age in which he lived. The exhibition is a series of reflections on our current world, based on themes that were also important in Martinus’ life.
