Het -letterlijk- oneindig aantal foto’s van telkens weer dezelfde bezienswaardigheid, genomen van op steeds dezelfde plek, is zo’n absurd gegeven dat het fascinerend wordt. De massa’s getuigenisfoto’s vormen, volgens de kunstenaar, één grote berg visueel afval. Dit project is een poging om ze te recycleren.
The -literally- infinite number of photographs of the same attraction, taken from the same spot, is such an absurd fact that it becomes fascinating. The masses of testimonial photographs form, according to the artist, a mountain of visual waste. This project is an attempt to recycle them.
